Information security is one of our highest
priorities. We use state-of-the-art software and
other technologies to prevent unauthorized users
from accessing our systems, especially those
accessible from the Internet. Some of the measures
we take are very apparent – encryption of
sensitive data, password protections, etc. Some
protocols, although less obvious, are equally
effective. For example, your User ID and password
are entered on a page that does not use the https
protocol, but the data is encrypted when you
submit it. Once you click “LOG IN”, we secure
the connection to our servers using SSL
technology, then transmit your User ID and
Password. Once received, this information is
transported within our systems via an encrypted
network.
Following are descriptions of some of the layers
of technology we employ to help ensure the
confidentiality of your transactions:
- Browser Encryption
- User ID and Password
- Network Security and Monitoring
Browser Encryption
We require the use of a 128-bit secure browser
to login to your account and perform
transactions. Netscape Navigator®, Netscape
Communicator®, and Microsoft® Internet
Explorer are all secure browsers. If you are
not using one of these browsers, or feel your
browser does not meet the security
requirements of www.EliteCapitalConsultants.net.,
use one of the following links to download an
upgraded browser.
 Microsoft®
Internet Explorer
 Netscape
Navigator®
 To
upgrade
to the enhanced AOL web browser
with 128-bit encryption, use the keyword
UPGRADE.
Remember that once you've downloaded the
proper browser, you must install it on your
computer. Follow the browser manufacturer's
instructions that appear on your screen.
Secure browsers employ secure sockets layer (SSL)
technology to communicate with servers. This
technology encrypts—or scrambles—the
communication (ie. your account information)
so it's virtually impossible for anyone other
than Bank One or it’s affiliates to read it.
